Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA)

Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA) is a procedure used to retrieve sperm from the testis in men who have a low sperm count or no sperm present in their ejaculate. TESA provides a solution for men who may have previously thought they were unable to father a child and offers hope for starting or expanding their family. In non-obstructive azoospermia conditions, TESA can be an effective option for couples struggling with male factor infertility. Sperms retrieved through TESA can be used for ICSI to make embryos and can be further transferred to the uterus to achieve a viable pregnancy or can be cryopreserved to be used in future.
